Tungsten Oxide Powder Applications

Manufacturing tungsten products, especially tungsten powder. The process of W powder are hydrogen reduction method and carbon reduction method.

Measuring sulfur. When coulometric titration is used to measure sulfur, WO3 is used as a catalyst, which can significantly reduce the activation energy of the reaction and increase the reaction rate, saving energy consumption.

As a target material. Tungsten trioxide target is an optimized solution for tungsten trioxide powder, and it can be used as a commonly used evaporation material for preparing tungsten trioxide electrochromic thin films by electron beam evaporation.

Used as ceramic raw material. Tungsten trioxide functional ceramics have the potential to be applied to varistors.

Act as a catalyst. Tungsten trioxide can be used as an ideal catalyst for photolysis of water, and has important application prospects in the field of solar photolysis of water for hydrogen production.

For dimming glass, the application of tungsten trioxide as an electrochromic film material is based on the existing laminated glass manufacturing method, and the dimming film is firmly bonded between two pieces of ordinary float glass.

As a shielding material. Tungsten trioxide has the advantages of good shielding effect, good air permeability and washability. It can be made into metal fiber radiation protection clothing and can also be used in medical shielding parts.

As a fuel cell carrier. Tungsten trioxide can partially replace carbon as a fuel cell carrier, load precious metals, and form a Pt/WO3/C catalyst, thereby greatly improving the corrosion resistance of the catalyst and ultimately improving the service life of the catalyst.

Prepare the resistive element. As a sensitive material, tungsten trioxide has the advantages of simple structure, low cost, and high sensitivity, and can be used to prepare resistance elements, such as NO2 gas sensor and H2S gas sensor.
