Titanium Powder

Titanium Powder is one of our main products. It’s produced by hydride-dihydride (HDH) technics. We adopt some special procedure control and facilities to make sure to produce low oxygen content.

Titanium Powder Application

Metal additive, surface coating, porous material made by cold press molding, dense materials made by hot press molding, billets made by injection molding, surgical implants, PEM, PEMFC, 3D printing, aerospace industry, military flash materials, and blasting agents.

Service From ARS

Customized service: Chemical compositions and particle sizes can be customized on request.
Sample service: 1 kg Ti powder sample is available.

Hydride-dihydride (HDH) Process

This method uses hydrogen to make the titanium brittle enough to crush and perform initial sizing. Hydrogen is then removed under vacuum followed by final sizing to customer specifications. This process creates a final particle morphology described as blocky or angular.

Chemical Properties of Titanium Powder

It does not react with H2O, H2SO4, HCl, and HNO3 at room temperature.
The content of N, H, O, and C will increase in the air.
It can cause an explosion with a strong oxide mixture.
Titanium powder is stable at room temperature, flammable in high temperatures, and combustion for the silver-white sparks.

Transportation and Storage of Titanium Powder

Package: Steel drum lined with a vacuum plastic bag with a net weight of 50kg, 100kg, 200kg package, nationally issued dangerous articles package performance certificate, and dangerous article use certificate, or upon customers’ request.
Transportation: By sea or air or FedEx.
Storage: Storage in a cool, dry place, avoid tearing the package, and prevent contact with fire. It can not be mixed with acid, alkali, and other corrosive materials.
