Yttria-stabilized Zirconia Powder

Category:

Yttria-stabilized Zirconia Powder

It is a dense white powder of high chemical purity containing yttria. It has excellent sintering properties.

Yttria-stabilized zirconia (YSZ) is a zirconium-oxide-based ceramic. The particular crystal structure of zirconium oxide is made stable at room temperature by the addition of yttrium oxide. These oxides are commonly called “zirconia” (ZrO2), and “yttria” (Y2O3), hence the name.
Chemical Name: Zirconium oxide, Yttria stabilized
Chemical Formula: ZrO2 + Y2O3
