Hafnium Pieces
Hafnium is a silvery-colored, ductile metal that is found in all minerals containing zirconium. Hafnium is fabricated into ingot form through vacuum arc melting of material into slab form and then rolling into plate and sheet products. Hafnium can be used to control the recrystallization of tungsten filaments, but its main application is as control rod material in nuclear reactors due to its ability to absorb neutrons.
ARS provides a range of sizes of hafnium pellets with high quality.

Hafnium Pieces Applications
1. As hafnium has a remarkable ability to shed electrons into the air and has a high melting point, it is the crucial component of the plasma cutting electrode.
2. Hafnium also has a strong ability to capture neutrons, making it an excellent material for control rods in nuclear reactors.
3. Hafnium is also used as an additive to alloys.
