Applications of Rhenium Powder
If rhenium powder is added to tungsten or molybdenum by 3~30%, the mechanical properties will be significantly enhanced. However, the largest user of rhenium is the jet engine and the chemical industry’s catalytic uses. It is estimated that 5kg of rhenium is required in one engine for an F35 jet fighter.
