Applications of Lutetium Metal

Lutetium is often used as catalysts in petroleum cracking in refineries and used in alkylation, hydrogenation, and polymerization applications. Some lutetium compounds also have specific uses. For example, lutetium tantalate (LuTaO4) is the densest known stable white material (density 9.81 g/cm3) and therefore is widely used in X-ray phosphors.

Packaging of Lutetium Metal

1. Packed in iron drums, lined with a single layer of plastic bags and protected by argon, each barrel weighs 50kg or 250kg.

2. According to the customers’requirements, we can provide custom products and packaging.
